Carmel Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Mixers are a great opportunity to introduce the membership to your business and become acquainted with your services. General Information:

• Ribbon Cutting Mixers are usually held on Wednesdays or Thursdays, however not during the week of a regularly scheduled monthly Carmel Chamber Mixer
• Ribbon Cutting Mixers run from 5:00 - 6:45 p.m.
• There is no charge for members to attend
• Average attendance ranges from 20-60

What Carmel Chamber of Commerce Staff does:

• Arrange for an appropriate Government Official to participate
• Publicize the event (newsletter, broadcast email & fax, press releases to all of the local newspapers and radio stations
• Arrive at your location at approximately 4:45 in order to set up the sign-in area; bring ribbon, tape, thumbtacks, scissors
• Display a Carmel Chamber of Commerce banner
• Create nametags
• At approximately 6:00, the Carmel Chamber of Commerce Board Chair will make a few announcements and introduce the host. The Ribbon Cutting will follow the announcements.
• Photos of the Ribbon Cutting will be included on the Carmel Chamber of Commerce page of the Carmel Pine Cone on the last Friday of the month

What the Mixer Host does:

• Provide a table and two chairs located at the entrance to the Mixer area
• Provide appetizers, wine, and water (or some other non-alcoholic drink) for 20-60 attendees

5:00 p.m. Members arrive and network informally
6:00 p.m. Carmel Chamber of Commerce Board Chair
   · Welcome Members, Guests, and Non-Members
   · Introduce City Officials in attendance
   · Introduce Ribbon Cutting Mixer Host
6:05 p.m. Ribbon Cutting Mixer Host Comments
6:10 p.m. Government Official Comments
6:12 p.m. Ribbon Cutting and Photos
6:20 p.m. Informal networking continues until approximately 6:45 p.m.
